Site Maintenance Planner - St Fergus - £34,622 to £40,731

National Gas has an exciting and important role in achieving net zero and in leading a fair energy transition for the UK. We will do this by developing the green gas system of tomorrow, while delivering the natural gas needs of today.

Our gas Terminals are fundamental to the United Kingdom economy and energy demands. We take pride in ensuring the safe, efficient, reliable, and flexible supply of natural gas from the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) and Norway, providing key interfaces between UK / EU gas supplies.

About the role

There’s no need to hide who you are at work. At National Gas, your whole self is who we want on our team.

As the Site Maintenance Planner you will support the St Fergus Terminal Operational Teams in planning processes, scheduling and delivery of routine and non-routine work activities on Compressors, Pipelines and AGI assets within The St Fergus Gas Terminal.

It's important you ensure compliance with operations work planning and delivery processes including the co-ordination of area and zone planning meetings. You will co-ordinate and input data used to allocate and optimise resources for effective delivery of the terminal work plans.

You will use work scheduling tools, including Maximo, and liaise with St Fergus operational teams to ensure an effective match between planned workload and resources is achieved whilst providing necessary support to review key performance indicators to drive efficiency.

You will work within a collaborative and supportive team to contribute towards the overall performance of your area, ensuring individual and team targets are achieved.

What we are looking for

We aren't looking for someone who has 'been there done that, got the T-Shirt' but someone who has an inquisitive mindset, comfortable picking up new tasks and able to work with computers / excel.

You will have a willingness to learn which will complement the extensive training you will receive to be set up for success. Coupled with the hunger to succeed you will have opportunities to develop and progress within National Gas.

What we can offer you

  • Annual bonus of 6% based on personal and company performance
  • 26 days’ holiday plus statutory holidays - option available to buy extra or sell days
  • Generous double-match pension scheme - for every £1 you put in, we'll add £2 (max company contribution 12%)
  • Flexible benefit scheme, including private healthcare, dental insurance, technology plans and more
  • Overtime at x1.5 normal and then x2 on Sunday
  • Financial protection with 10x salary death in service and financial support if you're unable to work due to long term illness or injury
