The Operations team maintain, repair and upgrade 7,666km of high-pressure pipe, 23 compressor stations, 504 above-ground installations, and 8 connected distribution networks through a highly skilled team of over 600 technicians and engineers across Great Britain. Working around the clock to maintain and enhance the infrastructure that powers homes, business and industries, guaranteeing a steady and secure energy supply.

About the role

We are searching for a Fleet Administrator to join our Fleet Operations team to help support the team in ensuring daily tasks and customer requests are completed in a timely manner. You will report into the Company Car Lead where you will be responsible for the central email accounts, company car queries, escalations, and management of re-allocations of company cars.  

 

You will be a key contact between our operations team and suppliers, where you will compile regular reports detailing company and commercial vehicle operations performance aiding in the continuous process improvements. 

What we are looking for

 

We recognise we are a niche company, therefore don't worry if you do not meet 100% of the requirements because we know that there is a wealth of transferable skills out there. 
  
You will have previous experience of working within fleet or the company car environment. You will possess strong communication skills, as you will be working with different Stakeholders across the business, including National Gas Executives and Board members. 

 

It is essential that you have previous customer service experience as this role is very customer focused. Whist we would like you to have experience in using fleet management systems and vehicle hire systems, these are not deal-breakers as we’re more focused in finding someone with a passion for fleet administration and a commitment to doing the job right. 

 

This role requires you to have a full driver’s licence due to potential travel needs associated with this position
