Senior Project Manager (Investment Closures) - Midlands/Hybrid - Up to £73,000

About the role:

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to guide, manage and support delivery teams in the closure phase of construction delivery.  

As the Senior Project Manager for Investment Closures you'll be responsible for shaping, managing and owning the construction closure process, ensuring the efficient and consistent throughput of investment closures. You'll use your project management expertise to promote, educate, support and track investments in the closure phase of delivery.  Your role will be to translate a vision or end state, communicate this to your team and teams around you with positivity and energy, so that they can perform and deliver under pressure, consistently and in a timely manner. You’ll need to constantly adapt, altering your playstyle and strategy to suit what’s in front of you.

Your pro-active style will support delivery teams through the closure phase of construction delivery and will shape new and innovative ways to approach the challenges of investment closure. You and your team will provide matrix management of delivery teams, proactively guiding them to ensure a smooth and efficient closure process. You'll also be tasked with engaging key stakeholder, removing issues and blockers, and driving business process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency of the closure process. 

Travel will be part of the job – we have a national portfolio. You'll spend up to 60% of your time travelling and working on sites and office locations with home working in-between. Therefore, it’s essential you hold a full UK driving licence. 

What we're looking for:

Essential -

• Degree/technical qualification or equivalent time served experience
• Project management experience
• Solid attention to detail
• Ability to work accurately to deadlines
• Full UK car driving licence

Desirable - 

• Experience of gated investment processes
• Regulatory knowledge
• Financial knowledge
