Asset

You’ll gain invaluable hands-on experience while contributing to the future of sustainable energy. Over 18 months, you'll complete three six-month placements across different teams, working alongside industry experts to manage and maintain essential assets, helping to shape the energy landscape for a Net Zero future.

Finance

You’ll develop a well-rounded skill set across key financial areas, from transactional accounting to providing direct support to finance business partners. You'll work towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA) while gaining valuable experience in a growing and regulated business, all while helping drive the UK’s transition to clean energy.

Technology

You’ll gain hands-on experience in a variety of IT roles, from system development to infrastructure management. You’ll work on impactful projects, develop technical expertise, and support the transition to sustainable energy while working towards professional certifications.

Cyber

You’ll have the chance to build expertise in cyber security, protecting critical infrastructure in the energy sector. You’ll gain exposure to various security functions, work on real-world challenges, and receive training and support to enhance your skills as you help safeguard the future of energy.

Commercial

You’ll gain diverse experience across key business functions, such as regulation and market strategy, while working on high-profile projects like hydrogen and carbon capture. Over 18 months, you’ll complete three six-month placements, with support and mentorship to help you build a successful career in the energy sector.

Construction

An exciting opportunity to contribute to key infrastructure projects, such as hydrogen and carbon transportation, while gaining hands-on experience in design development, project management, and construction execution. Over the course of 18 months, you’ll complete placements, working across various projects and building the skills needed for a career in sustainable energy infrastructure.

System operations

You’ll complete three placements across our System Operations department, gaining invaluable experience in areas such as System Capability & Risk, Markets, or Commercial Operations, alongside a broadening placement in another part of the business. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate across teams, and contribute to the transition to a clean energy future, all while receiving a competitive salary and benefits.
