The Model
Our regional model brings us closer to the communities and industries we serve across Britain. By organising around different parts of the country, we can respond faster, build stronger local relationships, and deliver work that truly reflects the needs of each area.
It’s the best of both worlds. You’re part of a national organisation keeping Britain’s energy secure, while working in a region where your impact is visible every day.
For you, that means real variety and opportunity. You can build deep local expertise, work across multi-disciplinary teams, and shape projects first-hand - while still having access to the scale, support and career progression of a national network.

Our regional office is based in Peterborough. The departments that work from here are People, Communications, Commercial, Supply Chain, Utilisation & Support, Engineering, Safety, Finance, and Planning.
We want to support and empower our people and make the East Region a fantastic place to work.
West Region
We maintain seven compressor stations at Churchover, Wormington, Aylesbury, Lockerley, Felindre, Carnforth, and Nether Kellet, with regional offices based in Bristol and Warrington.
As well as our skilled technicians and engineers, the region also has Planning and Performance, Supply Chain and Commercial, People, Finance, and Property specialists, all working together to create faster, simpler solutions for the safe and efficient delivery of our work.
We want to enable and empower our people to make the West Region a great place to work, every day.

Our Supply Chain and Commercial team helps turn complex programmes into confident delivery by building strong supplier partnerships, shaping smart commercial strategies and creating the conditions for projects to move smoothly from plan to execution.
It’s a team that combines commercial excellence with collaboration—strengthening supply chain relationships, improving governance and, by being embedded in regional teams, enabling stronger local partnerships that help National Gas deliver high-quality infrastructure projects across Britain.
