About the Role:

Ready to ignite your career in the energy sector? National Gas is currently undertaking a program of works to modernise its control system infrastructure We are seeking a Commissioning Manager to join our control systems project team to lead our commissioning activities.

Acting as a single point of contact, you will be required to ensure all testing and commissioning tasks are meticulously planned and executed in alignment with the requirements of the business.

You will ensure all testing and commissioning activities are planned and executed in accordance with National Gas specifications for testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance testing of assets. Verification of testing and commissioning should follow the accepted design whilst considering safety, cyber, environmental impact and impact on existing operational plant and personnel.

So, what's going to make you successful in the role? Industry experience is important with a strong background in control systems instrumentation and process automation. The candidate will be expected to have an awareness of OT Cyber Security requirements, experience of safety instrumented systems and knowledge on the delivery and commissioning of control systems.

The successful applicant should be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

A related engineering degree is preferable however not essential, and candidates will be considered based on related experience first and foremost

• Proven experience in delivering and commissioning of compressor control systems.
• Strong ECI background
• Experience of change Management 
• Qualified in a related engineering discipline to HNC or higher
