What You'll be doing:
- Monitoring online platforms for new work opportunities
- Leading all external bidding activity and coordinating input from across the business
- Reviewing and renewing online accreditations
- Attending client performance reviews, site visits, and scoping sessions
- Providing monthly updates on bid activity, including wins, losses, and feedback
- Representing National Gas at industry events and networking functions
- Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to increase work orders
- Being a visible presence across National Gas depots
- Scanning for new opportunities and supporting supplier onboarding
- Preparing contracts for review and sign-off
About You
You’re someone who thrives on bringing people and ideas together to create winning bids. You’re naturally curious, commercially aware, and confident navigating complex information — whether that’s reviewing contracts, analysing opportunities, or coordinating input from across the business.
You’ve got a solid background in bid management or estimating, ideally within the gas industry, and you know how to spot a good opportunity when you see one. You’re comfortable working with numbers, have a sharp eye for detail, and communicate clearly with people at all levels.
You enjoy building relationships — and you’re not afraid to get out and about, whether that’s visiting sites, attending events, or being a visible presence across our depots. You’re organised, proactive, and always looking for ways to improve how things are done.
If you’re someone who brings energy, insight, and a collaborative mindset to your work, we’d love to hear from you.
