About the role
If you're the kind of planner who likes joining the dots, leading smart teams and helping big programmes land on time and on budget - this one’s for you.
You’ll lead our NGS Programme Planning team, shaping how we plan, track and optimise complex programmes. From setting robust baselines to spotting risks early and turning insight into action, you’ll play a key role in helping our programmes perform better than plan, not just meet it.
What you'll be doing
- Lead resource planning activities, ensuring accurate forecasting, allocation, and optimisation of workforce, materials, and equipment to meet programme objectives
- Manage the end‑to‑end planning process across integrated, contractor and NGS programmes
- Lead and develop a high‑performing Programme & Planning team, driving efficiency and cost reduction
- Build and maintain robust, cost‑loaded programmes with clear baselines
- Analyse critical path, float, variances and earned value to identify risks and opportunities early
- Support month‑end reporting, providing clear insight and recommendations to the Programme Lead
- Work closely with supply chain and internal stakeholders to assure programme compliance
- Validate progress through design reviews, site visits and performance assessments
- Drive continuous improvement, sharing best practice and introducing smarter planning approaches
About you
You’ll enjoy working at programme level and aren’t afraid to ask the right questions to get behind the data. You’re confident engaging with stakeholders, comfortable leading a team, and you take real pride in turning complex information into clear, decision‑ready insight.
You’ll care about doing things properly - but you’re also pragmatic, solutions‑focused, and always looking for a better way.
