National Gas Services is Britain's trusted authority in pipeline repair, maintenance and intervention. With our extensive expertise in both emergency and planned solutions, we ensure rapid 24-hour responses, 365 days a year - along with a full range of maintenance, inspection and repair services. 

About the role

National Gas Services (NGS) is committed to driving strong and sustainable growth. We are expanding our customer base across the UK and internationally, and we are looking for a dynamic and trailblazing Business Development Lead to join our team.
 
So, you are great at driving business growth. Not only that, but you are also excellent at leading teams to achieve their best. As the Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for achieving overall revenue generation targets for the Business Development team. 
 
You will drive revenue growth, develop strategic plans using market intel, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your leadership will be crucial in developing your team and ensuring business objectives and revenue targets are exceeded.
 
To achieve success, you will build specialist knowledge across the suit of products National Gas Services offer and ensure that you and your team are able to demonstrate these products and services at a subject matter expert level.

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role you will come from a contracting environment having held revenue-growth roles and you will be an analytical thinker with the ability to build long-lasting relationships with a variety of stakeholders to achieve results for the customer and for National Gas Services.
 
You will be used to and thrive in a customer-first culture whilst ensuring profitability through your strong business acumen. You will have experience of leading teams to success in the utilities industry through turbulent times by setting clear strategic direction, goals, and objectives.

• Salary circa £100,000 (dependent on experience)
