About the role:

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our control systems project team. The Design Engineer will be responsible for working with both internal and external stakeholders to co-ordinate the technical aspects of a project.
Working within a dedicated project team, you will be a main point of contact with all engineering design elements across the project. 
 
You will use industry and company technical standards and procedures to provide clear instruction and guidance to framework contractors in order to achieve stakeholder acceptance. You'll engage effectively with key stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the control system whilst maintaining safety, quality and environmental practises are embedded in the design process.
 
You'll come from a relevant engineering background with transferable experience and hold a minimum of HNC level qualification (or equivalent) in a related engineering discipline. An awareness of OT Cyber Security requirements, experience of safety instrumented systems and knowledge of control systems delivery would be an advantage.
 
As we have a national portfolio, you will be expected to travel to meet the requirements of the project. Therefore, it’s essential you hold a full UK driving licence.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in co-ordinating formal process safety and environmental assessments.
• Able to ensure conformance to the change control G/35 processes to meet the business requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance on the project in co-ordination with internal stakeholders.
• Past experience managing technical queries and deviations raised by the framework contractor.
• Able to manage design reviews and approvals.
