We’re looking for a strategic IT Service & Project Specialist to join our central advisory team. This specialised role provides expert guidance across multiple IT disciplines, including networks, desktop environments, telephony, mobile, Wi-Fi, and video conferencing. You’ll support concurrent workstreams and advise on infrastructure scope, technical readiness, service transition, and deployment strategies.
This role requires national travel (up to 80% of the role, company car provided), with overnight stays (reasonable expenses covered).
About the role
- Provide cross-functional advisory support across IT service domains.
- Assess delivery channels for cost-effectiveness and alignment with business needs.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Support service transitions and infrastructure readiness across operational sites.
- Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and service owners to ensure seamless delivery and handover to BAU.
About you
- Strategic IT advisory experience across multiple domains.
- Strong technical understanding of enterprise IT and digital workplace services.
- Familiarity with ITIL and service transition processes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities independently.
- Skilled in infrastructure assessment and delivery model recommendations.
- Professional integrity and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
- Experience in IT operations or service delivery, ideally in regulated environments.
- Proven ability to manage vendors and coordinate delivery channels.
- Strategic input into projects, ensuring alignment with governance and long-term goals.
