About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Technical Admin Assistant to join our regional delivery team. This role supports up to 100 operational staff and plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of our pipeline protection, fault management, and purchasing processes.

What You'll Be Doing

In this varied and fast-paced role, you will:

  • Manage aerial surveillance reports and third-party enquiries to protect high-pressure pipelines
  • Liaise with helicopter pilots, external customers, and internal teams to ensure safety and compliance
  • Monitor and manage faults on the Gas Transmission Network, coordinating responses with GNCC and operations teams
  • Administer Lone Working Procedures and emergency communications
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and resolving queries
  • Provide administrative support across travel bookings, IS equipment, workshops, and internal communications
  • Support planning and performance teams with data, reports, and asset-related enquiries

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to support team decision-making

Key Requirements and Experience

  • Experience in a technical or administrative support role
  • Familiarity with fault management systems and purchasing processes
  • Ability to interpret technical reports and maps (e.g. OS maps, grid references)
  • Strong IT skills and ability to manage multiple systems and tasks
