About the role

Help secure Britain’s energy future. This Project Manager role sits at the heart of our National Cyber upgrade campaign, making sure critical assets are delivered, commissioned and compliant so we can power Britain, progress towards net zero, and maintain industrial competitiveness.

What you'll be doing

  • Own delivery end‑to‑end for complex Cyber EC&I projects, from mobilisation through to commissioning and handover.
  • Manage scope, programme, budget and resources to keep the project on track and aligned to business goals.
  • Champion health, safety and environment across all activities, setting the standard for safe delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment, transparency and momentum.
  • Administer NEC/4 contracts and manage commercial performance throughout the lifecycle.
  • Support commissioning to ensure assets are operational, compliant and ready for service.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting, covering progress, risks, and financial performance.
  • Promote safety leadership and continuous improvement across your project team and supply partners.

About you

You’re a confident, proactive Project Manager who thrives in construction and engineering environments, staying calm under pressure while keeping people engaged and informed. You’re hands‑on and detail‑focused, with a knack for planning, problem‑solving, and bringing teams together to deliver high‑quality outcomes safely.

Key requirements & experience

Essential:

  • Proven project management experience within construction/infrastructure/engineering settings.
  • In‑depth knowledge of CDM Regulations.
  • Experience with NEC/4 contracts and commercial management.
  • Relevant project management certification (e.g., APM, PRINCE2, PMP)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Solid understanding of health, safety and environmental standards with IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications

 

Desirable:

  • Experience working on EC&I Projects. We have EC&I SME's on the project to help get you up to speed if not.

 

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
