Senior Project Manager - Remote with Travel - Paying up to £80,000 Dependent on Experience

The Assurance Lead is a crucial position in our Business Assurance and Risk team, auditing various parts of the business and operations (UK only), harnessing a deep understanding of business strategy, control frameworks and risk. 

About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a mechanical and civil work portfolio, upgrading and improving our key transmission sites. If you have a strong mechanical or multi-discipline engineering background, experience in managing large remote teams, and a proven track record in overseeing complex infrastructure projects we'd love to hear from you.
 
In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of our Compressor and Above Ground Installation Upgrade campaign. This includes leading a diverse team of Project Managers, Design Coordinators, and Project Supervisors to ensure successful project completion on time and within budget. With strong focus on compliance, collaboration, and commercial acumen, you will take ownership of:
 
Managing the overall project strategy and execution.
Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations throughout the project Lifecyle
Delivering accurate and insightful project report to key stakeholders
Managing project risks, resources and performance effectively
Overseeing NEC contract, ensuring commercial and contractual objectives are met

What we're looking for:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
 

• A strong electrical or multi discipline engineering background, with significant experience in large scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead and manage remote teams, ensuring collaboration and alignment across multiple locations.
• A thorough understanding of CDM regulations and their application in project management
• Expertise in project reporting, including tracking performance metrics, forecasting, and presenting updates to senior stakeholders.
• Demonstratable experience managing NEC contracts with strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
•  Flexibility and willingness to travel nationwide, with onsite presence required up to three days a week with the remaining days being either from Home or office.
