About the role

Are you ready to take on your next challenge in a particularly exciting area of National Gas that is National Gas Services?
 
As the Business Support Administrator you will partner with the NGS Leadership Team in helping them run their business area.
 
Why is this particularly exciting? Well… Because NGS is a profit-making part of National Gas you will have a wide exposure of business activities including diary management, event planning and much more.
 
That sounds like a broad area… but that’s the beauty of it, no one day is the same with lots to do and lots get involved with. A fantastic opportunity for someone that is keen to hit the ground running from day one but still want to learn and be given the ability to grow with the business which is striving for (and achieving) ambitious year-on-year growth.
 
You will have a positive, self-motivated attitude with a passion and desire for continuous improvement. Ideally you will have previously held a similar role having had involvement with stakeholders and event planning.
 
The NGS team lives and breathes collaboration hosting away days every 6 months and a fortnightly call to share ideas which they then empower people to run from inception to implementation (where possible).
 
This is an onsite role, primarily based at Warrington but you'll be traveling around the other depots (Knowsley, Ambergate and Birmingham) as required. This will give you a fantastic opportunity to interact with a variety of stakeholders and understand the wider business, increasing your professional network and skillset at the same time.

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role you will be happy roll up your sleeves and get stuck into a variety of tasks, you'll approach things in an energetic and proactive way whilst always wanting to deliver on time and to the required standard.

 

You'll be a great communicator (verbal and written) which will be crucial in building relationships and relaying key messages to people around National Gas. You'll understand the importance of in-person interactions and as such happy to travel as required.
