Customer Operations Manager - Warrington - £51,000 to £63,000 + Company car

As the Customer Operations Manager you will be supporting the National Gas Services (NGS) growth strategy and identify new lines of business, either through organic work or new activities.
 
You will be responsible for the front-line management of staff, providing safety leadership, customer focus, technical expertise and performance excellence. This results in cost effective, customer focused operations and projects in the provision of NGS.
 
You will provide high level technical advice and consultation to customers, displaying sound judgement in both emergency and planning work situations.
 
You will be accountable for the planning and delivery of projects allocated to the post holder, push for performance excellence by driving workforce utilisation and productivity continuously. Lead the delivery of a Project Portfolio for internal and external clients, including customer projects via a team of site based Project Supervisors or equivalent.
 
You will manage and supervise operational activities on a day-to-day basis, ensuring business objectives of high productivity and efficient work practices through effective management of the utilisation of the workforce assets is achieved. You will also participate in a standby rota to cover the CEME requirements.

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you will have a good understanding of the operation and maintenance of high-pressure gas systems, above ground installations, associated plant & equipment. You will have strong leadership, influencing, customer orientation and communication skills, providing the ability to promote team working and harmonious working between direct staff, project teams and contractors at all levels.
 
You will have knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and procedures including the CDM Regs 2015 and the roles and responsibilities. You will have experience and familiar with leading projects through design and delivery stages.
