Future Regulatory Framework Manager, Warwick (Hybrid) – £65,000-£80,000 plus benefits

As Future Regulatory Framework Manager, you have a pivotal role in shaping the UK’s hydrogen economy and net zero future. You’ll lead funding strategies for hydrogen and CO₂ transport infrastructure, provide expert regulatory guidance, and drive engagement with Ofgem and DESNZ to secure the best outcomes for National Gas and our customers.

About the role
In this role, you will:
- Lead development of the hydrogen transport business model, coordinating with Ofgem, Government, and stakeholders to deliver an effective regulatory framework across gas, hydrogen, and carbon capture.
- Drive National Gas’s input into future price control regulatory frameworks.
- Provide expert insight on key regulatory and policy issues, including responses to public consultations.
- Manage cross-functional teams to deliver compelling regulatory submissions and business cases supporting net zero goals.
- Own relationships with Ofgem, DESNZ, and other stakeholders to secure timely decisions and optimal funding outcomes.
- Identify and manage regulatory risks, ensuring clear communication and action across the business.
- Advise internal teams on regulatory obligations and challenges.
About you
- A strategic thinker with a passion for driving the UK’s net zero transition.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities and navigating ambiguity to shape regulatory policy.
- Strong stakeholder management with proven ability to build and lead key relationships.
- Sharp analytical skills to assess options and develop effective solutions.
- Experience in regulatory or commercial environments, with sound risk management and commercial insight.

- Salary between £65,000 and £80,000 (dependent on experience),
- Annual bonus of 15% based on personal and company performance,
