The HR Advisor position supports our Corporate Functions (i.e. Technology, Finance, Legal, Commercial, Strategy and Regulation, and the Executive), reporting directly to the Senior HR Business Partner - an employee headcount of 500+. The People (HR) Advisor is our dedicated first point of contact for employees and managers, offering tailored HR advice on all employee-related issues. You’ll support predominantly in case management (ER), plus a wide variety of other generalist HR responsibilities such as People Planning, Talent, Reward, Recruitment and analysis and reporting. This position will give excellent experience for someone aspiring to move into a HR Business Partner in the future.

About the role:
The People Advisor will be the critical first point of contact for Managers on all Employee Relations and Case Management activities, delivering timely and informed advice at all stages (Disciplinary, Code of Employee Conduct, Grievance, Performance Improvement, Discrimination Bullying & Harassment (DBH), Drugs and Alcohol, and Sickness Absence) - ensuring robust investigations are carried out (then, if required, passing on to the complex cases team).
You will also:
- Produce and distribute monthly metrics/scorecards and ad-hoc reports for your business areas. Analyse data to understand key themes and trends (MS Excel, PowerBI, SuccessFactors).
- Work with the People Leads to deliver the people plan for the business areas, and contribute to and support the delivery of wider People projects such as DEI, EVP, and Reward.
- Support the delivery of the talent agenda (e.g. local succession planning, engagement and development activity, End of Year processes and Talent Reviews), and provide relevant data and insights.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with local Trade Union representatives and provide administrative support to the TU Forums where required.
About you:
You have proven HR and Employee Relations (ER) case management experience, in a medium to large sized organization (500+), who enjoys working at pace - taking the initiative and prioritizing your work. You also have more generalist HR exposure to a range of areas such as Talent, DEI and Reward. You’re likely to be CIPD L5 qualified (or working towards it). This role requires a confident stakeholder manager, with strong data/ analytical skills, and excellent knowledge of HR policy.
