HR Business Partner – Warwick, hybrid – circa £55,000 + bens
An outstanding opportunity to deliver dedicated and tailored HR advice and support to our Major Programmes division at National Gas (Engineering and Supply Chain). Reporting to the Lead HRBP, you will understand and translate our business strategy into people priorities to drive a robust strategic people plan. Working closely with the leadership teams you will manage business change effectively, identify and develop talent, drive performance, as well as provide leadership support and coaching.

About the role:
As HR Business Partner, part of a large specialist HR team, your key responsibilities will be to partner closely with the Major Programmes business area to:
- Provide high quality, consistent, risk-based people advice to all levels of management on all employee related issues.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team of assigned business area(s), contributing to wider business decisions and offering credible, professional HR insight, challenging the direction and decisions as appropriate.
- Support the development and delivery of strategic workforce planning, and people plans to enable our teams to achieve their goals and create value-add.
- Lead and collaborate on assigned key projects and activities (e.g. DEI, Talent, EVP etc) and lead small functional OD work as appropriate.
- Work closely with our HR centres of excellence e.g. Reward, Recruitment, ER, Systems, People Services.
- Analyse key themes, trends and performance metrics in order to identify business impacts and make recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with policies to minimise tribunals, grievances and complaints.
- Maintain effective working relationships with local Trade Union (TU) representatives, working with the ER Cases team for employee relations issues.
- Work within the established TU frameworks to ensure issues are raised and addressed in a timely manner, representing the Company as required.
- Identify and proactively manage/ mitigate people risks.
About you:
You’re an experienced HR business partner, CIPD qualified, with a breadth of experience supporting and advising a large business area, including SWP, talent management, recruitment and ER. In person, you’re confident and resilient, a great relationship builder, who can constructively challenge and see the bigger picture. You have strong data analysis and interpretation skills, are keen to drive forward best practice, and bring new ideas in line with emerging research and trends.

- Salary circa £55,000 depending on experience
