About the Role
As a Cloud Engineer you’ll join our dynamic engineering team. You’ll focus on cloud provisioning and DevOps practices, which provides you with an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to our portfolio of projects. As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll work closely with our experienced engineers to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and automation solutions.
You’ll get stuck into:
- Assisting in the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure using platforms such as Azure, GCP or AWS.
- Collaborating with the DevOps team to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Monitoring and optimising cloud resources to ensure performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Participating in troubleshooting and resolving cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Working with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver cloud-based solutions that meet business needs.
- Staying up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, continuously improving your skills and knowledge.
About You
For you to thrive as a Cloud Engineer, you’ll need to have a basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and services. You’ll have a familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git) and containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). You’ll be a strong problem-solver and enjoy working through challenges. You’ll be at ease working collaboratively in a team environment and have excellent communication skills. A great Cloud Engineer has growth mindset, is curious and enjoys learning and adapting to new technologies.

What you'll need
You’ll need a bachelor’s degree in or related to:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certification, on GCP or Azure are advantageous

In return, you’ll receive a range of benefits that reward your great work. Your starting annual salary will be £34,646, plus a bonus scheme and a welcome payment of £2000. You'll receive a generous holiday allowance with the option to buy and sell additional days.

As part of our Hybrid working approach, your time will be split between office days, site visits and working from home.
You'll start in a large cohort of other graduates and apprentices, where you'll attend an in person induction in September 2025, fostering strong workplace relationships that will build the foundation of your future networks.
