We are seeking a talented Network Administrator to join our growing IT team, to provide technical and administrative support to small team who are responsible for the Business Enterprise and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) network systems.

About the role:


The Network Administrator will provide technical and administrative support to a talented team who are responsible for the Business Enterprise and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) network systems, including Satellite Telemetry, which are vital to the management and operation of the UK Gas Transmission Network.

 

You will support the team to diagnose and resolve issues and incidents; maintaining accurate records and metrics, whilst also providing support for the team so that the CNI networks are secure, reliable and proactively managed, ensuring network resilience is regularly verified and disaster recovery plans are in place and proven to keep our systems secure.

 

You’ll work closely with colleagues, project teams, network vendors and stakeholders, ensuring that changes to the network will not affect their safe operational control.

 

This is a hybrid role based between home and our Warwick HQ, and the closing date for applications is 26th May 2025.

 

About you:

 

  • Networks or Data Centre management experience
  • Superb verbal and written skills and experience of producing technical reports/documentation for a non-technical/technical audience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • A team player with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience of supporting transformation projects, involving technical and business change coordination 
  • Full UK driving licence
