Occupational Health & Wellbeing Specialist - Warwick (Hybrid) - £46,000 to £55,000

About the role:
In this key role, you'll be the subject matter expert responsible for shaping and delivering health and wellbeing programmes that support our people and add real value to the organisation.
You'll take the lead in identifying potential health and wellbeing risks across our workforce, developing and implementing proactive solutions that align with best practices and legislative requirements. Acting as the centre of excellence for health and wellbeing within NGT, you'll set the strategy for wellbeing services, policies, and procedures, ensuring they not only meet compliance standards but also foster a culture of wellbeing.
Collaboration is essential in this role - you'll work closely with internal teams, external occupational health providers, and wellbeing organisations, including mental health charities, to drive meaningful improvements. You'll also develop tools to measure performance, analyse trends, and provide insights that help shape future priorities.

As part of our hybrid working approach, this role offers a mix of office working in Warwick and home working. You'll need to be able to travel into the Warwick office approx. 2-3 times a week.
What we're looking for:
Essential -
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or NEBOSH National Certificate in Health and Safety
- Suitable technical or professional qualification such in Psychology or Behavioural Science
- Experience of delivering mental health and wellbeing programmes, ideally within a multi-discipline corporate setting
- Passionate about safety, health, and wellbeing, with high levels of enthusiasm and drive to achieve results
- Engaging and influencing senior management, line managers, employee representatives and other specialists to support in designing and adopting wellbeing programmes
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate articulately at all levels
- Resilient with the confidence and courage to challenge behaviours and issues
- Ability to think of innovative new ways in which to engage the business and devise creative solutions
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage own workload
- Full UK car driving licence
Desirable -
- NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- Qualification in Health, Organisational or Business Psychology
- Knowledge and application of the HSE Management standards
