Procurement Operations Analyst – hybrid, Warwick: £32,000 - £38,000 DOE, plus package

 

This is a critical support role reporting directly to the Head of Procurement Excellence, responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the function in ensuring operational matters are dealt with quickly.  You'll be a representative for the Procurement Helpdesk, coordinate the supplier onboarding process, and carry out supplier assurance checks.

About the role:

 

As well as being part of the procurement helpdesk and supplier onboarding and assurance checks, you will also:

 

  • Support supplier audits, working closely with the central and regional procurement teams.
  • Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Interface with other support functions to resolve Procurement-related issues and cross-function processes.
  • Planned and ad-hoc management reporting.
  • Support to users that have issues with systems and processes.
  • Administrator for SAP Ariba (e.g. user and permissions management) and other Procurement systems
  • Coupa administration and query management.
  • Manage buying channel maintenance, ensuring all relevant "how to buy" guides are maintained and accurate and linked to systems as appropriate. 
  • Monitor compliance.
  • Manage and maintain catalogues on behalf of the category teams. 

 

About you:

 

  • Knowledge of procurement systems and processes
  • Experience with SAP Ariba, Coupa & Power BI would be highly advantageous, as well as Microsoft suite and Adobe PDF
  • Strong customer service ethic and pro-active
  • Able to prioritise work, meet deadlines and targets
  • Strong desire to learn and develop in Procurement, and support continuous improvement
  • Analytical, able to support the production of ad hoc, weekly and monthly reports and dashboards
  • Working knowledge of e-procurement systems and the ability to extract, develop and analyse data
