Revenue Accounting Manager, Warwick with hybrid working – c£75,000 plus benefits

The Revenue Accounting Manager plays a key role within the Accounting Services management team. This is a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the transformation of the Finance team and help shape the future of financial operations across the organisation.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial processing and reporting of revenue, ensuring that all activities are efficient, compliant, and aligned with best practices. You will continuously monitor and review financial processes, driving improvements and embedding robust controls and service standards. A key focus of the role will also be leading business planning and forecasting, providing insight and direction to support strategic decision-making.

About the role

In this role, you will:

  • Support Controllership, Finance Business Partners, Regulatory Finance, and FP&A in delivering a complete, well-documented revenue process with actionable recommendations.
  • Lead month-end activities, ensuring data accuracy, appropriate classifications, and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Oversee timely and accurate financial performance reporting, providing clear and insightful variance analysis.
  • Deliver robust financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts, and respond to complex ad-hoc requests to support business objectives.
  • Maintain and monitor the financial control framework to ensure full compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and quantify financial risks and opportunities related to regulated revenue.
  • Manage revenue-related queries from external auditors and internal finance teams.
  • Drive process improvements and lead revenue-related projects as a subject matter expert.
  • Lead, develop, and support the team to achieve high performance and deliver results.

About you

Essential:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
  • Proven experience managing a wide range of stakeholders in a large, complex organisation
  • Strong background in financial and management accounting, reporting, and planning
  • Skilled in data management and project delivery
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
  • End-to-end process understanding and optimisation experience

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a regulated business environment
