Security Solution Architect – Warwick/Hybrid - up to £70,000

We have a fabulous new opportunity for a talented Security Solution Architect to join our talented Security team, whose mission is to protect the people and assets of National Gas to ensure the Business can provide security of supply to our nation.

About The Role

As a Security Solutions Architect, you'll lead the evaluation and design of security solutions to protect the assets and infrastructure at National Gas. You will work closely with the business, project teams, and technical architects to ensure solutions comply with regulatory and security controls requirements. 

You'll combine excellent communication skills, strong technical knowledge (including emerging Digital technologies), and a practical approach to real-world risk reduction. 

About You

• Confident communicator with excellent writing skills, who can build trust and influence stakeholders whilst being pragmatic and open to the opinions of others
• Passionate about understanding emerging technologies, the needs of the business, and can articulate solutions in an engaging way
• Superb understanding of cybersecurity principles, including authentication, authorisation, encryption, network security, and application security 
• Experienced in cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security technologies. 
• Skilled in designing and implementing security solutions for complex enterprise environments 
• Familiarity with ICS/SCADA/OT environments and architecture, along with industry-relevant standards such as NIST, CIS benchmarks and CAF Framework

• Salary up to £70,000
