As a Service Continuity Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our environments, systems, and facilities are always ready to support the safe operation of the gas network and the balancing of the gas market.
You will lead the development and implementation of robust continuity plans, manage critical systems and building capabilities, and ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and security standards.
Your role will also involve managing key service provider relationships, delivering on KPIs, and supporting the long-term resourcing and capability strategy. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies and industry partners, you will play a central role in shaping the resilience of our national energy infrastructure.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a confident and experienced leader with a strong background in service management, project delivery, and leadership. We are wanting someone to come into this role and bring a new perspective therefore we welcome people from all operational environments to apply.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex technical and commercial issues, making strategic decisions under pressure, and delivering results in a highly regulated environment. Strong financial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to navigate legal and regulatory frameworks are essential.
Given the role’s association with the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure, National Security Vetting may be required. Applicants should have at least five years of continuous UK residency. Extended periods (>six cumulative months) abroad may affect eligibility, subject to the purpose and location of travel.
