Supplier Relationship and Engagement Manager – UK-wide (Hybrid) - Competitive salary

A new managerial level role in our central Procurement and Supply Chain team – to lead and maintain our Supplier Relationship and Engagement Program - setting frameworks and governance, driving the roll-out of new processes and reporting on performance.

You’ll improve relationships with our long-term strategic suppliers, enabling the delivery of major projects and critical services.

About the role:

There are three key areas of responsibility:

  • Supplier Relationship Management - Create, embed and evolve our Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework, processes and governance, whilst maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers; and monitoring performance.

  • Supplier Engagement - Develop and implement a Supplier Engagement Plan to ensure effective communication and relationship management, establishing improvement programs if required, to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.

  • Supplier Insights - Oversee industry trends, market conditions, and supplier capabilities to ensure we remain competitive and innovative. Evaluate potential opportunities to leverage our key relationships with suppliers, technological advancements, and manage holistic supply chain risks.

About you:

You have a proven track record in supplier relationship management, or Business Development, with the ability to build strong relationships across our supply chain partners. Your knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and ability to deliver win-win situations, will enable you to work strategically and cross-functionally with multiple departments and stakeholders, to ‘see the bigger picture’, and drive through process improvement.

We welcome applicants with a background in Strategic Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management and Business Development within Supply Chain.

This is a permanent position in our Supply Chain team, based from our Head Office at Warwick or regional offices, with flexible hybrid working.
