Treasury Operations Analyst – Warwick, hybrid – up to £50,000 + bens

 

A fantastic opportunity to grow and develop your Treasury career with high exposure to the back office of a private equity (PE) backed business.

 

Treasury Back Office is a crucial function in ensuring funds are in the right place at the right time - this involves payments for interest, funding and debt. The Treasury Operations Analyst will support the Head of Treasury Operations, in our very active treasury function, with banking operations, cash forecasting and payments, as well as being a key member of the wider treasury team of 6, for ongoing treasury projects and improvements.

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Daily cash management including cash redemptions and deposits, FX deals. Management of the GBP pooling ZBA (Zero Balance Accounts)
  • Ensuring all Treasury payments for all debt/ derivatives are paid on or before value date (depending on covenants)
  • Monthly Bank Account Reconciliation of circa 20 accounts
  • Consolidate, analyse and report monthly forecast for submission to Board pack
  • Bank Platforms – Monitor and assist in the control environment of internet banking platforms
  • Bank Accounts – Account opening and closing procedures in line with Treasury Policy
  • Treasury Management System (TMS) – Ability to use TMS including setting up, making and classification of payments.  Control reports.  Maintenance and administration
  • Prepare and present reports, offering insights into liquidity positions

About you:

 

We’re looking for a finance professional with proven experience in treasury or cash management/ cash forecasting, and an understanding of treasury systems, banking operations and payment solutions.  If you have corporate internet banking experience, this would be an advantage, as would an intention to, or already be part-qualified in ACT (Association of Corporate Treasurers).  We can offer study support to continue your studies.  You’re advanced using MS Excel (e.g. pivots, vlookups, Ifs etc).  In person, you’re methodical, organized and detail-orientated, able to prioritise; with excellent communication skills and confidence in speaking with banks and executives.
